This page lists every cookie and browser-storage key Prepliq sets, what it is for, and how long it stays on your device. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. We also use the related browser feature localStorage, which keeps values on your device but does not automatically send them to a server. Both are covered by this policy.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for Prepliq to work and are exempt from consent under § 25 (2) TTDSG.

These values are kept in your browser on this device and are not sent to us automatically.

4. Third-party cookies
Prepliq does not embed third-party tracking scripts on the main site. When you reach a checkout page, you are redirected to Stripe’s hosted Checkout at checkout.stripe.com. Stripe sets its own cookies there for fraud prevention and session continuity, governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before any non-essential script loads.
5. Managing or deleting these values
- You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time from your browser settings (typically: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data).
- Disabling the
better-auth.session_tokencookie will sign you out and prevent you from staying signed in. - Clearing localStorage will reset coach marks and hint dismissals but will not affect your account or the exams saved to it, which live in our database. Practice exams you take without an account live there too, but only this browser can open them, so clearing its cookies ends your access to them.
6. Changes to this policy
If we add or remove any cookies or localStorage keys, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date at the top revised.
